The City Clerk/Treasure serves as liaison between Council and its constituents, and is custodian of City Council's legislative history and other official records of the City, including the City Charter, the City Code, City Seal, minutes, ordinances, resolutions, contracts/leases, annexation and zoning documents. The City Clerk is appointed by the Mayor and Council, and works very closely with the City Administrator, the Mayor and member of City Council. The City Clerk's Office also provides administrative support to members of Council.
Mrs. Woods also provides financial information and support to all City departments, other government agencies and the public. She is responsible for maximizing the investment of City funds and maintaining a stable financial position.
