Parks
Within its corporate limits, Fountain Inn has five public parks and an indoor activities center and three separate walking trails. There are two mini-parks, one neighborhood park and two community parks within the city limits. Fountain Inn has 48.95 acres of parks, which exceeds the national recreational standard for a city of its size. The recreational parks include Georgia Street Park, Fairview Street Park, Sanctified Hill Neighborhood Park, PD Terry City Park and Woodside Park; and the walking trails are located in the Country Gardens neighborhood, Woodside Park area, and near Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
The mini-parks, Georgia Street Park and Fairview Street Park, have children's play areas and basketball practice courts. The two community parks, PD Terry City Park and Woodside Park, have ball fields and picnic areas.
The PD Terry City Park has tennis courts on a "first come, first serve" basis and a state of the art playground.

Senior Adult Activities
We offer a wide range of activities for our Senior Adult community. The Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with Senior Action to provide a daily breakfast and many daily activities. We have daily exercise classes, a free fitness membership, and many special events. You can click on the link below to find more information about the monthly calendar of events. The Senior Adult Program is located at the Fountain Inn Activities Center, 610 Fairview Street.

Fitness Membership
The Fountain Inn Activities Center Fitness Membership gives you access to the newly remodeled and expanded fitness room, weekly exercise classes, and usage of the gymnasium. The hours of operation are 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM Monday – Thursday and 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Friday.
The fitness room and gym are reserved for the senior adults from 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM each day.
Membership prices:
Individual monthly rate - $15.00 for city residents and $20.00 for non city residents
Individual yearly rate - $150.00 for city residents and $200.00 for non city residents
Family monthly rate - $25.00 for city residents and $35.00 for non city residents
Family yearly rate - $250.00 for city residents and $350.00 for non city residents
You must be 18 years old to have an individual membership.
55 and older is free with Senior Action enrollment
15-17 year olds must be with an adult member and can only use cardio equipment

Travelle Wharton Youth Football Camp
Each year Carolina Panther and Fountain Inn resident Travelle Wharton holds a youth football camp in June. Click here for more information.
Trunk or Treat
Every Halloween, the city’s Main Street is transformed into a safe and exciting place for families to trick or treat. Different churches, companies, city agencies, and individuals set up trunks and other displays for kids to enjoy. To be a part of the festivities contact Chris Barrineau.
Ice Skating
During the Spirit of Christmas Past festival the Farmer Market Pavilion is turned into a Winter Wonderland. We have a synthetic ice skating surface rink for everyone to come and ice skate on while they visit downtown Fountain Inn. We have skate rentals and hour long sessions available.
