Parks

Within its corporate limits, Fountain Inn has five public parks and an indoor activities center and three separate walking trails.  There are two mini-parks, one neighborhood park and two community parks within the city limits.  Fountain Inn has 48.95 acres of parks, which exceeds the national recreational standard for a city of its size.  The recreational parks include Georgia Street Park, Fairview Street Park, Sanctified Hill Neighborhood Park, PD Terry City Park and Woodside Park; and the walking trails are located in the Country Gardens neighborhood, Woodside Park area, and near Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

The mini-parks, Georgia Street Park and Fairview Street Park, have children's play areas and basketball practice courts.  The two community parks, PD Terry City Park and Woodside Park, have ball fields and picnic areas.

The PD Terry City Park has tennis courts on a "first come, first serve" basis and a state of the art playground.

The picnic shelters and parks can be reserved and rented by calling our main office at 864-862-4675.

Fountain Inn Disc Golf Course Now Open!

The Fountain Inn Firecracker Disc Golf Course is located on the grounds of the Fountain Inn Activities Center and the Fountain Inn Elementary School on Fairview Street.  The couse is the result of Josh Bryant, a teacher at Fountain Inn Elementary, and many generous sponsors who worked on seeing this course become a reality.  For more information about the course and disc golf in general, click here.
