The mission of the Fountain Inn Parks and Recreation Department is to create community through people, parks, and programs. We strive to do that by providing the best facilities and services we can. We could not do anything without the countless volunteer hours of all the people in our community.

Fountain Inn City Parks
Within its corporate limits, Fountain Inn has five public parks and an indoor activities center. There are two mini-parks, one neighborhood park and two community parks within the city limits. Fountain Inn has 48.95 acres of parks, which exceeds the national recreational standard for a city of its size. The recreational parks include Georgia Street Park, Fairview Street Park, Sanctified Hill Neighborhood Park, PD Terry City Park and Woodside Park.
The mini-parks, Georgia Street Park and Fairview Street Park, have children's play areas and basketball practice courts. The two community parks, PD Terry City Park and Woodside park, have ball fields and picnic areas. The PD Terry City Park has tennis courts on a "first come, first serve" basis. Additionally, Woodside Park has a picnic shelter and a quarter-mile walking trail.
The Fountain Inn Activities Center
The Fountain Inn Activities Center located on Fairview Street, is a multi-purpose facility that offers many programs for youth and senior adults. The Senior Adult program runs Monday through Friday from 7-11 a.m. Activities include exercise classes, walking, health screenings, educational workshops, and leisure opportunities that include trips, meals, movies, and crafts. There is no fee for a Senior Adult membership for those over the age of 55.
The Center has a full court gymnasium for walking, running, or playing basketball and volleyball, as well as available meeting space for local groups and organizations. There is also a fitness room with weight and exercise equipment.
A Fitness Membership to the Activities Center is available to the public (ages 18-54). Membership includes use of the weight room and gymnasium.
Rates: $15 per month for residents inside the city limits of Fountain Inn and $20 per month for those residing outside the city limits.
The Activities Center is available Monday - Thursday 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
