The City of Fountain Inn is passionate about supporting our local businesses, and the Merry Market is the perfect opportunity to shop small for your gifts. On the first and second Saturday in November, Commerce park will fill with the best local vendors in the Upstate, live music, and delicious food trucks from 9 am - 3 pm.
Rudolph Run at Night
The Rudolph Run at Night takes place on the first Saturday in December. The race will begin with a one-mile Kids Run at 6:00 pm and a 5k run at 6:45 pm through the City's downtown area. The Growler Haus Tree Lighting and firework show will conclude the festivities.
The first 200 participants will receive a five-dollar voucher for their favorite drink from Growler Haus after the run!
Registration is available online. The run costs $30 for the 5k and $20 for the Kids Run (ages ten and under). The Kids Run starts in front of the History Museum and follows around Inn Circle, while the 5K will loop around town, including sections of the Swamp Rabbit Trail and the Inn Circle Carriage Route. All proceeds benefit the Fountain Inn Kid Enrichment (FIKE) Center, a free after-school mentoring program for under-resourced children in the community.
Growler Haus Tree Lighting and Firework Display
Join us for the official start of the Christmas season at Commerce Park on the first Saturday in December as we illuminate our downtown with thousands of twinkling lights and a special firework show. Starting at the end of the Rudolph Run with live music at 7 pm. The tree will be lit at 8 pm, followed by a fantastic firework display that will fill the sky!
Christmas Parade on Main Street
On December 8th, at 5:30 pm, Main Street is filled with the annual Christmas Parade. Hosted by the Fountain Inn Chamber, this time-honored tradition welcomes Santa and the Christmas Season to town! For more information, visit the Fountain Inn Chamber of Commerce.
Christmas "Inn" Our Town Festival
Lantern-lit streets, horse-drawn carriages, and Santa himself will welcome you to the Upstate's finest Christmas celebration. The soft glow of thousands of twinkling lights and live Christmas instrumentals turn our historic downtown into the most enchanting place to spend the holidays.
Celebrated this year from the 9th - 18th at Commerce Park, there are activities for the whole family.
Free Events During the Festival
Take a magical look in Santa's workshop as he prepares for the big night! Santa will be at Commerce Park every night during the festival, and free entry is offered to all visitors. So make sure to stop by and grab a photo with him!
Live Nativity Animals
On the nights of December 16th- 18th, get up close with the live animals. This petting zoo is free to all visitors.
Live Christmas Music
Every weekend during the festival you can visit Commerce Park to listen to the best live Christmas music. This event is free to all visitors.

Tour the twinkling lights of historic downtown Fountain Inn by riding in our horse-drawn carriages. The lantern-lit paths are sure to offer the most enchanting experience of the festival.
Tickets should be purchased in advance for your line-entry time, and walk-up tickets are not guaranteed; please be sure to get in line at the right time to avoid delays. Tickets are 10 dollars for adults, 8 Dollars for 65+, and free for three and under if they ride on your lap.
View the magic of Christmas on our Polar Express. This motorized trolly will bring you and your loved ones on an extended loop through historic downtown Fountain Inn. Every child will receive free hot cocoa and a souvenir bell. Starting from City Hall, you will hear a reading of the classic book The Polar Express before heading out to see the glowing lights of downtown. The Polar Express will drop you off at Santa's Workshop, with return trolleys every 20 minutes.
Tickets should be purchased in advance for your time slot, and walk-up tickets are not guaranteed; please be sure to get in line at the right time to avoid delays. Tickets are 12 dollars for adults and free for three and under if they ride on your lap.
