Febraury 9, 2026 we celebrated a ceremonial groundbreaking for the next stretch of the Swamp Rabbit Trail. This planned 2-mile paved shared-use path will extend the southern Golden Strip section, representing an important step toward transforming a standalone segment into a connected network designed for everyday use—not just recreation.
Once complete, the trail will help link neighborhoods, schools, and parks, including Mulberry Estates, Fountain Inn High School, and Bryson Elementary School, supporting safer walking, biking, and access throughout the community.
