Change of Use for Tax Map Numbers 0345000100606 (3.03 acres), 0345000100605 (3.92 acres), & 0345000100600 (8.85 acres)
The City of Fountain Inn is requesting the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority (GCRA) remove deed restrictions on the above parcels. The current deed restriction limits the use of these parcels to recreational purposes only. However, the City of Fountain Inn has identified an urgent need within our community for affordable housing. In alignment with the national objective 24 CFR 570.208 of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the City intends to repurpose these parcels for the development of affordable housing, providing vital support to the broader community.

Comments will be accepted during the public comment period starting November 8th, 2024 up until midnight December 9th, 2024.
Comments can be submitted by email to planning.development@fountaininn.org, submitted in writing to the address below, or made at the public hearing.
